Egress Maps: Maps are located near elevator lobbies and stairwells in each building. The maps provide the closest exit routes, nearest fire extinguisher, fire alarm pull station, stairs, evacuation chairs, and shelter-in-place locations. Every building has adequate means of egress, considering the distance and location of unobstructed exits and exit routes

Assembly Areas: Areas established for each building to provide a safe evacuation location for employees at every Aerospace-owned or managed building. Assembly Areas.

Shelter in Building Supplies: The EMP is prepared to assist employees in the event they must remain at their work location for extended periods of time due to a large-scale disaster. Aerospace maintains emergency supplies such as water and emergency food for employees for up to 72 hours. SIB Supplies.

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs): A medical device designed to analyze the heart rhythm and deliver an electric shock to victims of ventricular fibrillation to restore the heart rhythm to normal. Ventricular fibrillation is the uncoordinated heart rhythm most often responsible for sudden cardiac arrest. Sudden cardiac arrest occurs when ventricular fibrillation takes place or when the heart stops beating altogether. AED locations are marked by signs and are displayed on egress maps. AED Locations.

First Aid Kits: In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Evacuation Chairs: Specially designed chairs used to carry those that require assistance or are injured during an evacuation. A Buddy System has been established to support people in need of assistance. Additionally, anyone who might be required to utilize an evacuation chair receives training annually.
