Before an Incident

• Familiarize yourself with Aerospace’s response procedures
• Be prepared to note as much information as possible in the event that you witness an incident, this will be useful for security and law enforcement

During an Incident

If an employee, contractor, and / or visitor creates an emotionally oriented disturbance. We may request assistance from local police, either for purposes of arrest or stabilizing the situation. Background information will be collected from sources such as event witnesses, SCC, the employee’s family, supervisor, or other.

In violent cases where someone is an immediate threat physically to themself or others, the following actions are taken:

• Dial 911 and notify SCC and management immediately.
• Isolate other employees from the individual until assistance arrives.
• The SCC will notify the local Police Department.
• Management will notify the employee’s family or visitor POC, if applicable.

After an Incident

If you witnessed the event or are familiar with the individual involved, share any relevant information with SCC/law enforcement, and be available for potential follow up questions.
