Dialing 9-1-1 for Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, dial 9-1-1 from your cell phone or landline phone.
- Cell phone
- If you dial 9-1-1 from a cell phone, also call the SCC (El Segundo: 310-336-6520 Chantilly: 571-304-7220) when conditions are safe.
- Landline phone
- Dial from any unclassified landline.
- If you only have a softphone (Jabber) at your workstation, know the location of the nearest landline phone (usually in lobbies, conference rooms, pantries and hallways).
When calling 9-1-1, provide your name, nature of the emergency and location information (address, building, floor and room number). End the call when instructed to do so.
