Before a Storm

  • Monitor local weather advisories
  • Stock up on medication, water, and non-perishable food
  • Aerospace will distribute instructional communications in the event of site closure.

During the Storm

  • Stay indoors, dress warmly, and do not leave fireplaces, space heaters or candles unattended.
  • Only run generators outside and utilize battery powered carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
  • Icy roads, high winds, and low visibility make driving dangerous.
  • Follow instructions from local authorities, AeroElerts, and your manager.
  • Aerospace sites may be closed. Employees may be given time off or asked to work from home.

After the Storm

  • Monitor for Aerospace communications about sites reopening.
  • Avoid driving until roads have been plowed and salted.
  • Report any damage to SCC.
